Human Smuggling

NPR's John Burnett reports on the big business of human smuggling, and its middlemen — the so-called coyotes who guide illegal immigrants across the U.S.-Mexican border. Coyotes charge thousands of dollars for each person led into the States, and these days are attracting customers from as far away as Thailand, China, and Pakistan.
