Mayor's Conference

NPR's Peter Kenyon reports from Detroit on the 69th annual mayors' conference. House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt (D-MO) spoke before the group yesterday. President Bush will speak tomorrow. There is a debate among urban mayors about how to continue the prosperity that cities have enjoyed over the past decade.
