Kennedy-McCain Opponent

Robert Siegel is joined by Charles Cutler, MD, MS, to talk about health care policy. Doctor Cutler is the Chief Medical Officer for the American Association of Health Plans, and is opposed to the Kennedy McCain bill. He prefers an alternative bill sponsored by Senators Breaux, Frist and Jeffords. It would allow only federal lawsuits to be brought against health care providers, and would cap awards for pain and suffering at $500,000.
