NPR Science Correspondent Joanne Silberner reports on the FDA Advisory Committee's attempt to increase precautions keeping the human strain of Mad Cow disease out of American blood supply. With all the concern in Europe over the spread of the disease, the FDA is expected to ban blood donations from people they consider at-risk.
