Robert Siegel talks with John Rhodehamel, Norris Foundation Curator of American History at the Huntington Library in San Marino, California, about the library's collection of documents from the American Revolution. It includes letters and memoirs from well-known figures such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Benedict Arnold, and John and Abigail Adams. It also includes correspondence between foot soldiers and their wives, and memoirs from American Loyalists, British officials and others. The American Revolution: Writings from the War of Independence, edited by John Rodehamel is published by Library of America, March, 2001.
