AIDS Mutation

NPR's Richard Knox reports that new research shows the AIDS virus can adapt to the human immune system. Researchers have long known that the virus mutated quickly, but this is the first evidence that it can develop a resistance to specific genes. Now those studying the virus fear this trait will make it much harder to develop a vaccine.
