Tibetan Monastery In China

NPR's Rob Gifford reports on the fate of a Buddhist monastery that was part of Tibet before the Chinese government redrew the region's boundaries in the 1950s. Today, the building stands in China's Qinghai province... and the monks there find themselves torn between devotion to their Tibetan spiritual heritage, and obedience to the demands of the Chinese government.
