Iran Power Struggle

Host Renee Montagne talks with John Anderson, a Washington Post reporter stationed in Tehran, about the continuing power struggle between Iran's reformist politicians and the country's religious head. The Parliament today gave in to the Ayatollah's threat to postpone the presidential inauguration if it did not approve two conservative nominees to the Council of Guardians. The Council holds final legislative authority in Iran.
