Year of Wonders

Noah talks with Geraldine Brooks, author of Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague. Brooks has written an historical novel about the village of Eyam, England in the year 1666. When the plague spreads to Eyam, a young minister convinces the villagers to quarantine themselves within their village to stop the spread of the disease. Nonetheless, many villagers contract the plague. The book is published by Viking.
