Mississippi Ayers Case

NPR's Adam Hochberg reports on a civil rights lawsuit filed against the state of Mississippi more than 25 years ago. The suit alleges historically African-American universities have never received funding equal to its white counterparts. The state of Mississippi has offered a settlement of $500 million dollars to the schools. But critics say the proposed settlement is far too little considering the state's history of discrimination.
