College professor and Pulitzer Prize winning author Joseph Ellis was caught lying to his students. And last week Mount Holyoke suspend him from teaching even though he had tenure. Tenure has been criticized for being gender biased and creating a dead weight on college faculties. Has tenure lost its high status?
