Mental Health Parity

NPR's Julie Rovner reports on the mental health parity law, which is due to expire at the end of September unless Congress renews it. The law is supposed to help people who have trouble getting adequate insurance coverage for mental illnesses. It prohibits insurers from placing lower dollar limits on mental health coverage than on other care.
