NPR's Julie McCarthy reports from Brussels, where NATO defense ministers conferred today on the response to the Sept. 11 terror attacks in the United States. U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, standing in for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, said the U.S. has no need at the moment to seek collective NATO military action.
