NPR's Brian Naylor reports on Tuesday's upcoming race for governor in Virginia. Republicans have dominated recent elections in the Old Dominion and control all statewide offices plus both houses of the legislature. But their inability to agree on a budget plan has hurt the chances of GOP nominee Mark Earley. Multi-millionaire businessman Mark Warner is breaking the spending records and leads in the polls in his bid to become the first Democrat to win the governorship since Douglas Wilder in 1989.
