Paul McCartney Essay Found 50 Years Later

Good morning, I'm Renee Montagne.
It was an early crowning moment for Sir Paul McCartney. In 1953, he won a prize for an essay celebrating the coronation of Elizabeth II, an essay just discovered in a scrapbook at the Liverpool Public Library. The 10-year-old future Beatle seemed genuinely enamored of the quote, "lovely, young queen." Years later on "Abbey Road," he added this.
