The 1954 classic film On the Waterfront starring Marlon Brando with a score by Leonard Bernstein is now out on DVD. It won eight Academy Awards for Best Picture, Director, Actor, Supporting Actress, Story & Screenplay, Cinematography, Art Direction-Set Decoration, and Editing. We hear from Elia Kazan who directed the film and collaborated on the screenplay. Kazan was a member of the Group Theater and co-founded the Actors Studio with Lee Strasberg.
