The U.S. Message

Scott moderates a roundtable discussion by five experts who discuss the success and failure the U.S. in "getting its message across" in the Arab and Muslim world. Scott talks with Amb. Hume Horan, former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia; Hisham Melhem, Washington correspondent for the Lebanese daily As-Safir; Kenneth Bacon, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and currently the President of Refugees International; Eric Rouleau, a French journalist and former Ambassador from France to Turkey and Tunisia; and Marjorie Ransom, former press officer for the U-S in Cairo and Deputy Chief of Mission in Syria.
