The Church & Sexuality

Scott talks to Eugene Kennedy, a former Catholic priest about his new book, The Unhealed Wound: The Church and Human Sexuality. Kennedy says the average priest or nun is not necessarily improved by the demand that he or she be celibate, and that what the church needs are healthy people. The rule, which was issued in the 10th century, was designed to stop priests from giving jobs to their sons. (note: Eugene Kennedy's book, The Unhealed Wound is published by St. Martin's press)
