Drug Ads

NPR's Patricia Neighmond reports on prescription drug advertisements. Opponents say the televised ads encourage consumers to rely on name brands and wasting time and money for doctor and patient. Others claim the ads educate consumers, allowing them to play an active role in managing their own healthcare.
