Enron In Court

NPR's Wade Goodwyn reports that a Federal judge in Houston, Texas heard a request yesterday to freeze assets of 29 executives of Enron Corporation. The judge did not issue a ruling. The executives are being sued by Amalgamated Bank of New York and others who bought Enron securities over the past three years. The executives are accused of unloading more than $1 billion worth of Enron stock before the company collapsed.
