NPR's Kathleen Schalch reports on the agreement worked out this week in Paris among the world's top steel manufacturing countries to gradually reduce production capacity. The American steel industry hopes the deal will help it survive the current glut in supply. In the last four years almost 30 American companies have filed for bankruptcy protection.
