Good morning, Im Renee Montagne.

Nobel laureates handed out some prizes this week: The Ig Nobels. On behalf of a Harvard humor magazine, honors were given for dubious achievements like calculating why pregnant women don't tip over. The chemistry prize went to Mexican researchers who worked to create diamonds from tequila. And the Ig Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Swiss researchers who studied whether it's worse to be hit over the head with a full bottle of beer or an empty one.
