Psych Debrief

NPR's Libby Lewis reports on "psychological debriefing," a treatment to help disaster site volunteers and rescue workers talk through the trauma of the experience. A counselor tries to help the person release emotions that might cause more stress. The technique has been used with emergency workers, who responded to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. It's unclear how effective the method is.
