NPR's Scott Horsley reports on the Pentagon's announcement that troops from the Army's 101st Airborne Division will replace US Marines who are stationed at a desert airstrip near Kandahar in southern Afghanistan. The soldiers will carry on the effort to defeat any remaining Taliban and al Qaeda forces.
