Confederate Flag

NPR's Adam Hochberg reports on the debate over the display of the Confederate battle flag in the past year. Legislators in Georgia changed their state flag to de-emphasize the symbol, while voters in Mississippi overwhelmingly rejected plans to remove the symbol from their state flag. The latest skirmish is being fought in federal court in Virginia, where a Confederate veterans group wants to have the battle flag on vanity license plates.
