Richard Haass

Scott talks to Richard Haass, director of policy planning at the State Department, about what the U.S. government can do to mediate the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan. President Bush has called the leaders of both nations several times as tensions have increased since last fall. Secretary of State Colin Powell will visit the region next week.
