"Keep On Moving" Speech

Morning Edition pays homage to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., excerpting a speech he delivered in Birmingham entitled "Keep on Moving." At St. Luke's Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala., in May of 1963, King exhorts a meeting to go to jail if necessary to advance the cause of civil rights. Hundreds of his followers, black and white, already had been arrested.
