Amazon Makes a Profit

For the first time in its history, Web retailer Amazon.com has posted a profit. The fourth-quarter gain was a modest one — $5 million. But it was achieved the old-fashioned way, without an accounting gimmick that companies often use these days to puff up their profits. NPR's Wendy Kaufman reports.
