NPR's Emily Harris previews the two congressional hearings today into the causes and effects of Enron's collapse and bankruptcy. Today, the House Energy Oversight Subcommittee will ask about the destruction of documents at Enron's accounting firm, Arthur Andersen and Company. On the other side of the Capitol today, the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee will consider policy issues, such as derivative trading and the energy market, and retirement security through 401K plans.
