Daniel Pearl

A service for the slain Wall Street Journal reporter was held at Stanford University Memorial Chapel earlier this week. Daniel Pearl was killed by Muslim extremists in Pakistan after they kidnapped him. Since this highly publicized tragedy, even more attention is on the dangers that war correspondents face. Host Tavis Smiley speaks with award-winning journalist Neal Conan about his experiences as a journalist and his reflections on the murder of Daniel Pearl. Conan is also host of NPR's Talk of the Nation.
