Obamas Attend Daughters' Parent-Teacher Meetings
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne. He's the leader of the free world. He's trying to fix the economy, overhaul health care and win two wars. Yesterday, President Obama made time to hear about the progress of his daughters. It was parent-teacher conference day. Mr. Obama and the first lady started out with Sasha's third grade teachers, then met Malia's sixth grade teachers. No word on how the girls are doing in school. That's because no press was allowed.
It's MORNING EDITION.
