Yates Trial

A jury in Houston has convicted Andrea Yates of murder in the killings of her own children last June. In closing arguments today prosecutors told the jury that Yates and others like her need to be punished for their crimes. Defense attorneys argued that Yates was insane when she drowned her children one by one, and did not understand what she was doing was wrong. NPR's Kathy Lohr talks with Robert Siegel about the case.
