MICHEL MARTIN, host:

Tomorrow on TELL ME MORE, we have a special treat. The renowned a cappella group Sweet Honey in the Rock. They've performed at the White House, created a piece and collaboration with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and now they are here with us.

Tomorrow, we'll enjoy a performance in our studio. But we thought it might be nice to give you a little taste of what's ahead. Here's Sweet Honey in the Rock singing "Give Love."

(Soundbite of song, "Give Love")

SWEET HONEY IN THE ROCK (A cappella singing groups): Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. (unintelligible) into our lives, with arms opened wide with one sacrifice. But (unintelligible) together and they grew strong. What brings us to place where we belong is love. Precious love, in there we trust, the hope we live, until we send from our hearts we give is love. We give love, oh ah...

MARTIN: That's Sweet Honey in the Rock performing "Give Love." It's part of the soundtrack they created for the Alvin Ailey production, "Go In Grace." We'll hear tomorrow from Sweet Honey in the Rock. It's a special in studio performance.

And that's our program for today. You're listening to TELL ME MORE from NPR News. Let's talk more tomorrow.
