Nancy Solomon of member station WBGO reports that when a New Jersey welfare recipient calls about their benefits, the person on the other end of the line is most likely in India. Like many customer service jobs, even these welfare support positions are being shipped abroad — to the consternation of New Jersey's Human Services Commissioner.
