Un-green Building

Jon Miller reports that although a boom in construction of new single family homes is perceived as good economic news, it has long-term implications for the nation's energy supplies. Home heating, cooling and appliances account for more than one-fifth of energy consumed in the country. Still, only recently have builders begun thinking seriously about efficiency.
