Sealed Border

Pakistan says its border with Afghanistan is "sealed," but refugees continue finding ways to elude the border guards. U.S. officials say that Taliban or al Qaeda fighters continue to cross, too. They've disappeared into what's known as the "tribal belt," a region populated by heavily armed Pashtuns. NPR's Steve Inskeep reports on Pakistan's efforts to close that region.
