NPR's Peter Kenyon in Jerusalem reports on today's Israeli army incursion into Ramallah, the Palestinians' political and commercial capital in the West Bank. Israeli troops and tanks broke into Yasser Arafat's compound in what Israel called an attempt to isolate the Palestinian leader. The move is in retaliation for Palestinian terrorist attacks that have left more than 30 Israelis dead in the past three days.
