NPR's Linda Gradstein in the West Bank reports the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced a suspension of ambulance service in the embattled West Bank town of Ramallah after Israeli forces detained some of its paramedics and seized three ambulances. The past 18 months of conflict have brought the Palestinian health care system to the point of collapse.
