Association: Online Price War Hurts Smaller Stores
The American Booksellers Association is asking the Justice Department to investigate what it calls the "predatory pricing" of best-selling books by retail giants Wal-Mart, Target and Amazon. Books that normally sell for around $25 are being offered for around $10 ten. The association says other booksellers can't compete with such low prices.

You may find yourself amused or confused if you walk into a bookstore next month. Two new books will appear on the same day and both feature photos of Sarah Palin on the cover. One is, �Going Rogue: An American Life,� which is her memoir. The other is, �Going Rouge: Sarah Palin, An American Nightmare,� that is a collection of essays compiled by editors of the left-leaning weekly, The Nation.
