Many have said the best way to reduce America's dependence on oil from the Middle East is to drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. It has been widely assumed that oil from that region would NOT be sold abroad, except to Israel. Some lawmakers are now promoting ANWR drilling as a sign of support for Israel. NPR's David Welna reports.
