NPR's Ivan Watson reports on two major events in Afghanistan. Late last night an American fighter jet mistakenly bombed a group of Canadian forces. Canadian officials report four dead and eight injured. In addition, former Afghan King Mohammad Zaher Shah returns to his country for the first time in 29 years today. He is expected to help unify tribal factions.
