School Privatization

Karen Grigsby Bates talks with Adam Tucker, a vice president at Edison Schools Inc., the largest for-profit education provider in the country, and Nancy Van Meter, special assistant to the president of the American Federation of Teachers, about Edison's contract to take over 20 Philadelphia schools, and whether public education nationally has improved under private management.
