Code of the Street

Host Tavis Smiley speaks to University of Pennsylvania professor Elijah Anderson about his book Code of the Street: Deceny, Violence, and Moral Life of the Inner City. Anderson talks about how he was able to chronicle the difficulties that many youth face today growing up the inner city and the adopted protocols or "codes" they need to employ in order to survive.
