NPR's Mike Shuster in Jerusalem reports Israeli officials are calling the army's three-week offensive in the West Bank a success. Israeli officials say their forces are likely to surround Palestinian towns and cities for some time, to ensure there is no resurgence of attacks. (5:00) NPR provides extended Mideast coverage.
