Rugova & Milosevic

Geraldine Coughlan reports from The Hague on today's proceedings in the trial of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic at the U.N. war crimes tribunal. Ibrahim Rugova, president of Kosovo, testified as a prosecution witness. He accused Milosevic of unleashing a campaign of ethnic cleansing in 1999 in an effort to quash the independence movement in Kosovo. Kosovo, which is now under international administration, is a province of Serbia populated mainly by ethnic Albanians.
