TV Shows on the Bubble

Every year around this time, the casts and crews of several television shows acquire a condition known as being "on the bubble" — waiting to find out whether the networks will renew their programs. This week, the full casts and crews of at least 30 shows like Spin City and Touched by an Angel are on tenterhooks. Lifestyles are changed, vacations are delayed, and yoga studios are filled to the brim with nervous producers and writers. Bob Cochran, co-creator and executive producer for the Fox series '24' joins Scott Simon to talk about being "on the bubble."
