The latest book by Lynne Cheney, wife of the vice president and former chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, is a children's book celebrating the "diversity, tenacity and faith of the American people." Cheney talks with NPR's Susan Stamberg about the importance of teaching patriotism to kids, and about life after Sept. 11. (6:49)
