India-Pakistan

Guest host Alex Chadwick talks with NPR's Michael Sullivan in New Delhi. Tensions remain high between India and Pakistan the day after U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage concluded a diplomatic mission to the region. Today, India and Pakistan exchanged artillery fire across the line of control in Kashmir. Pakistan said yesterday that its air force shot down an unmanned Indian spy plane over the Pakistani city of Lahore.
