Brian Mann of North Country Public Radio reports that Canadian churches are dealing with their own sexual abuse scandals. For more than a century, the Canadian government often forced native children into boarding schools run by the Roman Catholic and Anglican Churches. Thousands claim they were abused, and settlements are forcing some dioceses into bankruptcy.
