Jose Padilla's Civil Rights

Federal authorities say they stopped American Jose Padilla as he was plotting to detonate a radioactive bomb in the United States. But Commentator Connie Rice believes Padilla's arrest underscores the risks and challenges of the war on terrorism. Connie Rice is a civil rights lawyer and co-founder and director of the Advancement Project, a group that promotes universal opportunity and a racially just democracy.
